One of the unique characteristics of Lake Shores Church revolves around what we call the ministries of the “church”. We will not have a boat load of ministries asking people to commit untold hours to facilities management, missions committees, various boards that churches dream up, etc.
We believe that each member of Lake Shores Church holds within them the giftings and talents for a very exciting ministry in the Highland Lakes Area. Your ministry may involve you intentionally getting to know the many parents on your child’s soccer team, the people serving on the PTO, your work peers, your baseball team, people who like to fish or wake board so that at the right moment you can tell them about Jesus.
Others at Lake Shores Church will want to start a ministry with more structure and mission of reaching out to specific groups of people in the area. For this reason, Launch Central was created to give guidance and funding on how to start an effective community ministry. This group of leaders will help you work through the organizing steps necessary to be successful, help plan out your mission statement and provide some initial funding to get the ministry moving forward.
So what has God laid on your heart?

Highland Lakes Lewy Body Dementia Caregivers Support Group
Lake Shores Church cares about caregivers. The Highland Lakes LBD Caregivers Support Group meets on the second Saturday of every month at 10 am at the Lake Shores Church annex in The Plaza 1, Suite 101, 705 Highway 281, Marble Falls, Texas. The group invites all dementia caregivers in the Highland Lakes community to join its monthly meetings. LBD effects one out of five dementia patients. Dealing with the symptoms of this disease takes a toll on the health of the caregiver. The group provides fellowship, sharing, information and encouragement to caregivers of dementia sufferers. Tom Clark is the group facilitator. email@example.com 830-220-9155
